Credible sources from within the corridors of the headquarters of the opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) has intimated The Exclusive that the party’s National Delegates’ Convention (NDC) slated for the 17th to the 19th of February, 2026, will be held inthe North Western District of Port Loko.
However, according to a recent press release from the party secretariat, the official announcement of the venue for the said convention will be made by the end of this year, following the successful conclusion of the party’s internal lower-level and regional elections, across the country.
The upcoming APC’s NDC will witness the election of the party’s new national executive officers and also that of the 2028 Presidential Flagbearer candidate of the party.
Part of the agenda for the upcoming NDC will, according to sources, include the endorsement of new members and also the reinstatement of several other members that were previously expelledorsuspended from the party including the likes of the former Vice President, Samuel Sam Sumana.
Meanwhile, the national executive of the APC is expected to today submit rules and regulations for the upcoming electoral cycle to the Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC), as stipulated in the 1991 National Constitution which, among other things, mandates political parties to submit their elections rules and regulations to the Commission not later than three months to the commencement of elections.
