One of the leading trading premier organization in the field of automobiles sector’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr MoussaMroue
hasmargnanimously donated 200 bags of cement to the Armed forces Wife cooperative.
The donation ceremony took place on Tuesday 30th April, 2025 at the construction site on Murry Town barracks, West end of Freetown.
Speaking briefly before the handing over of the donated cement, Mr Morowa explained that what he has donated to the Armed Wife cooperative is just a small donation when considering the huge amount of work left to be done on the building.
He promised to do more for the organization especially in the area of equipment for the skills training.
He spoke the need for others to help people who are in dire need of support, as according to he who giveth is sure of gaining the rewards not only in this world but year after.
Receiving the donation, the President of Armed forces Asanatu Bangura thanked CEO Morowa for boosting the cooperative and promised to utilised the 200 bags of cement for the intended purposes.
She said that the building is big befitting the status of the organization but that they are not financially strong to swiftly complete their building.
According to her she inherited the building from her predecessor vowing to complete it as and when they have the resources available.
Madam Bangura pointed out that the purpose of the building is to create a skills training centre for women and girls thar are interested in skills like soap making, tailoring, gara-tie-dying among others.
She revealed that apart from offering the above mentioned skills, the building will also have a multi purpose hall which willcatre for weddings ceremonies, birthday celebrations and other social gatherings.
Madam Bangura noted that wives of military officers will not be charged as other members of the general public.
She called on all and sundry to help them in whichever they can to complete the building.
