Bid Sheet: Bid sheets, available at the address below, can be completed and returned in a sealed enveloped clearly marked, “Sale No. AfDB/COSL/03/25” and deposited on or before Wednesday April 23, 2025, at 4.00 p.m. Bids received after the date and time specified will not be accepted.

Bid Condition: The vehicle is being sold on an “AS IS-WHERE-IS” basis. No guarantee or warranty, verbal or written, is made or implied as to their condition. Salesdone are final; refunds or adjustments will not be made.

Inspection: The vehiclemay be inspected during weekdays, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, by appointment with the Finance and Administrative Officer, on Telephone Number 078093 426.

Bid Security/Deposit: Only bids accompanied by a valid bid security, in the amount and form indicated in the table above, will be considered. The bid security of any unsuccessful bid will be returned promptly, upon confirmation of sale by the Bank.

Please note the bid security and bid amount can be quoted in the New Leones at the prevailing Bank of Sierra Leone rate of conversion from the SLE to USD

Bid Opening: Bids will be opened onThursday April24, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at the Bank’s Country Office, in the presence of bidders who chose to attend.

Payment/Release: Payment in full is required before release of anyvehicle is authorized. Payment can be made by Bank Draft payable to the African Development Bank or by Direct Cash Depositto the Bank’saccount.

Award: Awards will be made on the highest bid and to the best advantage of the Bank. Successful bidders will be notified by mail and their deposits retained as part of the payment.

Removal:Successful bidders must pay for and remove vehicles within seven (7) calendar days of the award. The Bank will only accept payment upon presentation of valid evidence of payment of all taxes and charges levied by the Government of Sierra Leone, in connection with the sale,successful bidders have sole responsibility to remove the vehicles and to provide adequate /safe equipment and personnel for the exercise.

Default: Failure of asuccessful bidder to comply with the payment and removal timetable, without due cause, may result in forfeiture of deposit and claims on the vehicle as liquidated damages. The vehicle will then be offered to the second highest bidder or re-offered for sale.
