The Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) and EGTC regret to inform the public that there is a technical fault at the solar site, affecting the power supply to Moyamba town.The technical team is working tirelessly to resolve the problem as soon as possible, and it is expected that the issue will be resolved tomorrow.
According to sources, the technical fault is due to an equipment malfunction at the solar site, which has resulted in a disruption to the power supply. EDSA and EGTC teams are on the ground, and has identify the root cause of the problem and will implement a solution.
As a result of the technical fault, there will be no light in Moyamba town until the issue is resolved. EDSA and EGTC apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to residents, businesses, and other stakeholders.
