SLPHA and AGL,Sign Final Review of Concession Agreement Following Cabinet Approval

Today 4th June 2025 ,The Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA) and Africa Global Logistics (AGL) have signed the final review of their concession agreement, following Cabinet approval.

The agreement, signed by the Director General Mr Yankuba Askia Bio on behalf of SLPHA, Maroun Abi Aad on behalf of FTL Capt. Kolan on behalf of AGL, focuses on the maintenance and repair of Berths 3, 4, 5, and 6 at the Queen Elizabeth II Quay. It also includes an extension of AGL’s license for bulk and break-bulk cargo operations at the port.

This development marks a significant step in strengthening port infrastructure and enhancing cargo handling capacity, in line with the government’s broader vision for maritime sector growth and efficiency.
