Madam Hawa Foray has been re-elected as the National Women’s Leader of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) at the party’s National Women’s Council Convention held in Kenema City. The election results are as follows:
- Hawa Foray: 193 votes
- Fatmata Sawaneh: 73 votes
- Alfreda Yeama Kassay: 56 votes
- Josephine Jackson: 3 votes
- Void votes: 5 votes
