In a show of generosity and support, the All Peoples Congress Party, Chairman for Constituency 070, Port Loko District, Adel Karim Dandas, in partnership with the Executive Committee (EXCO) members, on Saturday, 22ndMarch, 2025 donated food items the people of Port Loko.
The donated items included rice, Oil, sugar and other assorted items worth over fifty thousand New Leones (NLe 50,000.00) to various sets of people including, markets women, commercial motor bike (okada) riders, Imams,Ward Committee members and community stakeholders.
The donation ceremony which took place at Constituency 070 office in Lunsar, Port Loko District, aimed at providing relief and support to the constituency people, especially during these challenging times in the Holy month of Ramadan and Lent Season.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Adel Karim Dandas emphasized the importance of unity and community support within the APC Party, reaffirming his commitment to the welfare of the constituency and party stakeholders.
He stated that, “This donation is a token of our appreciation and solidarity with our members, the APC is a family, and we must always help one another at a time like this. We will continue to support and empower our people”.
He reiterated that EXCO is to serve and strengthen the unity of members within the party as opposition, stating that his executive took over leadership at a time when the ruling party was hostile to the opposition APC.
He urged every APC member to consider working together to strengthen the existing peace and unity within the party.
Former Constituency Chairmen, Pa Fodày Manger and Mrs Kadiatu Kamara, thanked Chairman Adel Dandas and executive for considering them and admonished members to unite to bring APC back to powe.
Several beneficiaries including,okada riders, market women, Imams, expressed gratitude for the gesture, highlighting how such acts of kindness strengthen the party’s grassroots and reinforce its commitment to the well-being of its supporters.
