Who is Alhaji. Timothy Musa Kabba.

Alhaji. Musa Kabba is a Sierra Leonean petroleum engineer, diplomat and politician, currently the Minister Of Foreign Affairs for the Republic of Sierra Leone.

Alhaji. Timothy Musa Kabba holds Bachelor and Master Degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the Saint Petersburg Mining University and an Executive MBA from Jack Welch Management Institute, Strayer University, USA.

He previously served as the minister of Mines and Mineral Resources and also held the position of Director-General at the petroleum directorate in Sierra Leone.

Timothy Musa Kabba has worked as Petroleum Engineer for Rosneft Oil and Gas Company, Lukoil Overseas and Lukoil Middle East Oil and Gas respectively as well as as Petroleum Reservoir Engineer in Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania, UAE, and Iraq for eleven years. He worked extensively as offshore Drilling Engineer in Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone. He also consulted for Total Exploration company in Ivory Coast before joining the Government of Sierra Leone.

Alhaji. Timothy Musa Kabba was Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources, up until his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation in July 2023. Prior to his appointment as Minister of Mines, he led the country’s offshore oil and gas exploration and exploitation endeavours as Executive Director General of Petroleum Directorate in Sierra Leone.

He is fluent in English, French and Russian, he also Speaks Mandingo, Temne, and Mende, On June 12, 2024, Timothy Musa Kabba announced on Twitter that he had been granted the favor to perform Hajj on the special invite of His Royal Highness, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of Mecca.
