The Management of Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority wishes to inform the general public that due to technical glitch on the 33kV line spanning from Freetown 161 to Blackhall Road Primary Substation, the following areas feeding from the 33kV line will experience power outage for the time being:
Wilberforce, Regent, Lumley, Juba, Juba Hill, Goderich, Mile 13, Sussex and Spur Road.
The Authority conducted inspection along the line and has identified the fault. Work on the faulty area had already commenced and it is expected that repairs and maintenance will be completed tomorrow, 3rd May, 2025.
The Authority apologize to customers residing in the above listed communities for the inconvenience this situation has caused and promise to complete repairs as soon as possible.
