With public trust and confidence in the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) restoring, there is a report of mad rush for the 2025 Police recruitment form across the country.
The 2025 Police recruitment form according to reports were not available after 48hrs of it released on Monday 19th May 2025.
This development has demonstrated that either every family member want to be linked with the SLP or the force is being use as amelioration to the difficult employment situation in the country.
The Inspector General of Police, in his transition messages disclosed the recruitment of thousand (1000) in this 2025 which he said would be done in two phases.
“Government has approved the recruitment of 1000 personnel which will be done in two phases. With each phase involving 500” said IGP Sellu.
On Monday 19th May 2025, a public notice from the Human Resource Directorate of the SLP informed of limited vacancies exists for enlistment into the SLP for the rank of a Police Constable.
The notice disclosed 400 vacancies, 200 for graduates and 200 for non-graduates, with forms to be collected at the six Regional Headquarters by interested persons or applicants.
On Tuesday 20th May 2025, interested applicants who visited the Regional Headquarters were informed of the no graduates forms been finished.
