… For The Internet Governance Forum Running From June 23rd To 27th
Madam Salima Monorma Bah, the Minister of Communication, Technology and Innovation, is in Oslo this week for the Internet Governance Forum #IGF2025, running from June 23rd to 27th. She’s attending at the invitation of Norway’s Minister of Digitalisation and Public Governance, Karianne Tung.
So far, Madam Bah has taken part in the Africa Ministers’ Roundtable on the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS+20), where leaders from across the continent reflected on the progress and future of digital transformation in Africa. She also joined a panel on Data Governance, contributing to critical conversations around trust, privacy, and fairness in the digital age.
On the sidelines, she met with the Africa Director of GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) to discuss deepening digital cooperation between Sierra Leone and regional partners. Learn more about GIZ’s work here: www.giz.de
