SOLEMN SESSION in Memory of the Late Court of Appeal Judge:

Sierra Leone’s Chief Justice, His Lordship Honourable Justice Komba Kamanda, while welcoming mourners, stated that the Solemn Session is part of the Judiciary’s long-standing tradition of honouring fallen colleagues who have contributed immensely to the Judiciary and to nation building.

“This morning,” he said, “we are gathered to honour the late Honourable Justice Dr. Abou Bhakarr Binneh-Kamara, who passed on to eternity a few days ago.”

The Chief Justice further noted that the passing of the late Court of Appeal Judge serves as a profound reminder of the transient and ephemeral nature of human existence.

He used the session to also console family members of the late Court of Appeal Judge.
