VP Leads Response To Fire Outbreak At State House

Following a fire outbreak at State House in Freetown on Saturday, 12th April, 2025, Vice President Dr. Mohammed Juldeh Jalloh reportedly visited and remained on-site for the most part of the night and also operated from his office on Sunday, 13th April to coordinate the emergency response.


The Vice President, acting in the absence of President Julius Maada Bio, who is currently on an official visit to Antalya, Türkiye, took charge of the situation, overseeing firefighting efforts and ensuring continuity of operations despite the blaze.
