According to the Director of Communications, the institution has a list of defaulting customers who connect cables from streets poles to home meters and from the meters to the internal wirings.
He also told the press that they were able to apprehend several customers found abstracting electricity illegally which, he confessed, has been a torn in flesh for the institution, adding that electricity illegally consumed by certain customers should be paid within a specific period. The said operation, he informed, is ongoing.
Sahr Nepor also warned customers that EDSA will ensure that they pay all their bills on time as they are very much constrained because some customers refused to allow them into their premises.
In conclusion, Director Sahr Nepor noted that electricity issue is of national concern and that customers must pay for the service if EDSA is to effectively and efficiently operate.
